Tourism webinar: How to tackle the German market

fredag, 12 juni 2020

In these Corona times, everything points to either staycation or traveling to the neighboring countries for this summer's holiday. Being World Champion in travels per head and year, Germany has always been the most important market for Denmark with 16.8 million overnights in 2019, and the second-most important market for Sweden.

With the slow but steady re-opening of borders in Northern Europe, the German market, due to its closeness to Scandinavia and its travel-crazed and wealthy population, plays an even more important part for regional tourism, also in the short term. However, the German market is still a different market than the Scandinavian and requires a special understanding.

In order to learn more about the German media market and the strategic approach to German travelers, we invite you to participate in our tourism webinar led by our two Senior Advisors, Ole Purschke and Anna Kron Boysen.

Ole has worked with PR for touristic brands and destinations for more than 13 years, and has a deep knowledge of the German media landscape. Anna is a specialist in Swedish/Danish tourism and has more than 10 years of experience from Visit Sweden in Denmark. Together, they will share their perspectives on German/Scandinavian tourism and travel trends, as well as give a short introduction to the German market from a Scandinavian perspective. During the webinar, there will be plenty of time to ask questions.

WHEN: Wednesday, 24 June, from 10-11 AM
WHERE: Zoom Video Meeting

To join the webinar, please sign up (for free) by sending an e-mail to akb@ehrenbergsoerensen.com.
