Successful travel fairs for EHRENBERG Kommunikation

mandag, 20 januar 2014

EHRENBERG Kommunikation has just hosted two press meetings at the travel fair ’Ferie & Fritid’ at the Bella Center in Copenhagen for leading Danish travel journalists. More than 35 journalists attended both press meetings, which is an all-time high in terms of media participants.

On the first press meeting of the day, the ferry operator Scandlines unveiled the initiatives in connection with the 25th anniversary for the fall of the Berlin Wall together with a representative from VisitBerlin. One of the more festive celebrations will take place on 09 November, where thousands of light filled balloons will be released in Berlin along the 12-kilometre route, where the wall used to be.

At lunchtime the ferry company Færgen invited the press on speed dating with its Islands and among others launched its new travel guides written as dating profiles. After the press meeting all journalists were invited to take a bite of Bornholm, as chef Jan Gildam had prepared a large buffet with tasty Island specialities from the realm of Færgen.

The next exhibition on the horizon for EHRENBERG Kommunikation is the World's leading travel trade fair, ITB in Berlin. Here we will be hosting a Speed Dating Breakfast on Thursday 6 March at 0900. This event is an excellent opportunity for destinations, carriers or other touristic companies to network with Germany's top travel editors. We can still make room for further participating clients: If interested get in touch with Matthias Mies, Head of PR Continent, at mm@ehrenberg-kommunikation.com.

As the show must go on, we are also represented at the Swedish travel fair TUR in Gothenburg from 20-23 March, where we will be hosting press meetings and networking events with media representatives. If you are interested in learning more about our plans at TUR, please do not hesitate to get in touch with Allan Sonne Sørensen, Head of PR Scandinavia, at as@ehrenberg-kommunikation.com.

We are looking forward to seeing you there.
