Our Hamburg team is growing too: we are glad to welcome Markus Matthießen, who joined EHRENBERG Kommunikation as a Senior Public Affairs Consultant earlier this month.

Markus brings with him more than 15 years of political and corporate experience on different levels. As a member of the state parliament of Schleswig-Holstein, he mainly worked with European, economic and tourism policy. Further steps in his career included a CEO position in the infrastructure sector and working as a management consultant for asian investors and in the real estate business.   

Most recently, he worked as a campaign manager for member of the German Bundestag Norbert Brackmann, leading his successful campaign during the last elections to the German Bundestag.

Due to his professional background, Markus knows political communication from both sides of the table. In his new position, he supports and counsels our clients and plays a vital role in the further developing of our German Public Affairs department.
